{"id":110,"date":"2018-12-11T12:01:00","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T16:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/widezine.net\/teste\/?p=110"},"modified":"2026-05-29T11:55:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T03:55:18","slug":"finally-premiere-pro-cc-13-0-2-now-support-prores-export-on-windows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/widezine.net\/pt\/news\/finally-premiere-pro-cc-13-0-2-now-support-prores-export-on-windows\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiere Pro Support ProRes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce new support for exporting Apple ProRes on the Windows platform with today\u2019s updates to the Adobe Creative Cloud video apps, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Premiere Pro CC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After Effects CC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adobe Media Encoder CC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The updates are available via the Creative Cloud desktop application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">13.0.2 update for Premiere Pro CC features the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0 Export support for Apple ProRes on Windows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0 Import for HEIF files created on iOS devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0 Improved performance with the Canon Cinema RAW Light on Windows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0 Import support for ProRes HDR footage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple ProRes is a codec technology developed by Apple for high-quality, high-performance&nbsp;editing. It is one of the most popular codecs in professional post-production and is widely used for acquisition, production, delivery, and archive. Adobe has worked with Apple to provide ProRes export to post-production professionals using Premiere Pro and After Effects. Support for ProRes on macOS and Windows helps streamline video production and simplifies final output, including server-based remote rendering with Adobe Media<\/p>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"col-14 article-col text-block-col d-flex flex-column align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"text-block-col-inner\">\n<p>Encoder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"510\" src=\"https:\/\/widezine.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/PremierePro_AppleProRes_Export_Win10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4751\" srcset=\"https:\/\/widezine.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/PremierePro_AppleProRes_Export_Win10.jpg 700w, https:\/\/widezine.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/PremierePro_AppleProRes_Export_Win10-300x219.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-14 article-col image-block-col image-media\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p>With the latest Adobe updates, ProRes 4444 and ProRes 422 export is available within Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder on macOS and Windows 10.<\/p>\n<h4>13.02 UPDATE- WHAT\u2019S NEW?<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Apple ProRes Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With this latest update from Adobe there is now, wait for it, export presets for Apple ProRes, including ProRes 4444 and ProRes 422 formats directly from within Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder for both macOS and Windows 10 users.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HEIF Import<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HEIF files, recorded on iOS devices can be imported into Premiere Pro and Media Encoder on macOS and Windows. This feature requires macOS 10.13, or higher, and Windows 10 (version 1809 or higher).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faster Canon Cinema RAW Light performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>13.0.2 also includes faster decoding for Canon Cinema RAW Light footage and improved playback performance on multicore Windows 10 machines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ProRes HDR Import<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This new update also allows users to import ProRes HDR footage with Rec2020 and PQ\/HLG color information from HDR media in ProRes containers.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>13.0.2 BUG FIXES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Stability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crash when switching into DM mode after dragging the application to another monitor.<br>\nCrash when running a film project with multiple audio effects.<br>\nEffect Controls Panel crashes randomly. The control points of curves cannot be selected and adjusted.<br>\nIn a locked project panel, double click opens importer dialog.<br>\nCrash occurs on zooming video or image in program monitior to 400% and scrolling to the left on Mac OS.<br>\nMultiple MXF files appear truncated on the system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance<\/strong><br>\nPerformance drop in software decoding in the current build when compared to previous builds (12.11 and 12.12)<br>\nUI delay on switching clips or locking audio tracks on Mac OS.<br>\nLatest RED SDK produces occasional soft hang.<br>\nCrash when creating dummy wifi access point on Mac OS.<br>\nIn H.624 encoding on Windows, Adaptive Match Source (High Bitrate) preset with software encoding results in different bitrates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Formats<\/strong><br>\nClips imported from XML, AAF, prproj, or any other project are not referenced correctly.<br>\nImport .stl as Teletext is handled as Open Subtitling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Audio<\/strong><br>\nLocking audio tracks is slow with mix track option.<br>\nIn a submix track, you get an audio output buzz when playing silence with an effect.<br>\nIn multicam mode, playback has audio glitches.<br>\nDeadlock with audio with transmit involved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editing<\/strong><br>\nMerged clips are deleted without warnings.<br>\nRecovered clips are created with merged clips.<br>\nClips replaced in timeline appears black.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Color<\/strong><br>\nIn a non 16:9 sequence, glitches appear on the right edge when the Adjustment layer has a combination of CUDA and Lumetri.<br>\nClip Name background color draws over selection outline and clip outline.<br>\nAuto Color Match does not work with speed change.<br>\nColor workspaces: Unsafe memory usage in PixelFormatConvert.<br>\nDCM kernel uses out of scoped memory for kernel parameters.<br>\nLumetri Color adds distortion to right edge of stills (MPE \u2013 CUDA).<br>\nIn Lumetri, CIrGFTexture does not check for GPU allocation or operation errors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Captions<\/strong><br>\nSTL Sidecar Captions ignore sequence out point in OP47.<br>\nEmbedded Captions are one frame shorter than content in OP47.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morph Cut<\/strong><br>\nNesting of large number of clips is not possible.<br>\nSequence playback crashes with Morph Cut.<br>\nThe application hangs on moving Morph Cuts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Export and Render<\/strong><br>\nDisplaySurface is limited to 8 bits in Metal.<br>\nWhen FCP XML is exported from Premiere Pro, position keyframes are not translated and are set to 0,0.<br>\nIn Metal 1.0, errors appear on playing a project on Mac OS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous issues<\/strong><br>\nFlattening a multicam shifts effect keyframes if its components have speed changes.<br>\nShared projects: Merged clips break when dragging from one project to the other.<br>\nSync Settings : Removing Manage Creative Cloud Account\u2019still is visible in File&gt;Sync Settings menu on Windows.<br>\nGoPro7 file displays upside down Proxy with GPU Renderers.<br>\nAn audio icon or wrong icon is displayed for subclips in icon view.<br>\nDynamic link: Character Animator cannot find the source and the application terminates when a saved project in Premiere Pro has multiple Character Animator sequences from different Character Animator projects.<br>\nOut of sync icon +1\/-1 unselectable.<br>\nSRT\/STL Import Background is only used, if defined in file. If defined as opaque and \u201cOverwrite file settings\u201d, if should always be used.<\/p>\n<p>This update is recommended for all users.
