LEAK: First Umidigi smartphone with Android 10 and Hole-Punch Display
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMIDIGI is trying to follow the success created with the UMIDIGI F1, one of this brand most sold models, building a new model called “UMIDIGI F2”.

These posters have been leaked today
In these 3 images, we can clearly see a small hole-punch display at the top left corner of the screen, which appears to cover a tiny area like the flagships Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Honor 20 Pro. In addition, it shows a slim chin at the bottom and virtually non-existent bezels at the top, bottom and both sides. The frame can be seen on the edge of the screen, which appears to be in full blue colour or gradient.
Doing a zoom on these 3 images we can see the watermark “SHOT ON UMIDIGI F2 48MP AI QUAD CAMERA” at the bottom left corner of the smartphone screen, which means this smartphone “F2” will have a quad-camera setup with a 48 MP primary sensor, the last photo suggests that there’ll be a macro lens in the setup (with the butterfly image).
On the front, the first poster “bright and clear selfies” it’s expected a selfie camera with 32MP (probably the Samsung GD1 sensor) which can intelligently combine four pixels into one larger pixel, for brighter and clearer selfies.
The leak also talks about the Android 10 to get better privacy protection and many new features like the system-wide dark theme.
There’s no description about the launch date and price but it is speculated that UMIDIGI would reveal the new device at the end of September in AliExpress or Amazon. I
We also saw that UMIDIGI is globally recruiting 10 trial users to test smart devices and help to improve the user experience. If you’re interested in this brand you can join their giveaway on their official website.
