Our history started in 2018, in Brasil, when we first created a small independent project called “TheFilm”, dedicated mainly to cinema, filmmaking, and lifestyle discussions. A different project from our parent partnership with https://filmmakers.pro.br since 2010.

As the project evolved, we expanded our interests into technology and consumer electronics, leading to a transition into a new identity called “VideoGear” with a different website domain name.

In 2020, after a complete rebranding process in China and a broader creative vision, the project officially became WIDEZINE.

The name “WIDEZINE” reflects exactly what we aim to achieve:

  • “WIDE” represents broad and diversified news coverage.
  • “ZINE” comes from the word “Magazine”, representing editorial and media culture.

Today, WIDEZINE starts to evolve as an international media platform dedicated to technology news, product reviews, innovation trends, creative marketing, and digital communication.
